It’s another great day at Camp Pinnacle! Today, campers are rafting the Nantahala River, rock climbing at Cedar Rock, canoeing on the French Broad River, and backpacking in Panthertown Valley. Meanwhile, on our campus, campers are mountain biking on our eight miles of trails, climbing on the new climbing tower, challenging themselves on the new Sky Park, and staying cool and wet in Wolfe Lake on the blob, the water zip, and the mountain slide.
Evening programs continue to impress everyone. Last night, we had a murder mystery where cabins worked together to determine “whodunnit.” Tonight, it’s Gold Rush, one of the campers’ favorites!
Most important, campers are making friends from around the country and world and internalizing the values that are exemplified by our 5 Rs: respect, responsibility, reaching out, resilience, and reasonable risk.
