We couldn’t be more pleased with how session 1 is going. Camp is a joyful place, and every single camper seems to have found their groove. Everyone has made many new friends, challenged themselves, and succeeded beyond expectations. This is a kind and friendly group of kids, and the overall camp community has come together nicely.
Just walking around, it’s apparent how much the campers and counselors enjoy each other’s company, and everyone is simply very happy to be in this special place. It doesn’t hurt that the food has been amazing, and the new dining room is the perfect place to celebrate our community. Whether a family eats together is a huge indicator of adolescent success, so it only makes sense that three “family meals” a day helps drive our Great Eight Outcomes.
