After four years of Pinnacle summers, we are saying goodbye and thank you to our Office Administrator, Madison Bain. Many of you had the chance to interact with Madison during your phone calls, emails, and opening day camp store shopping at Camp Pinnacle. You were surely greeted with a warm smile and excitement for the magic of camp. We had the chance to watch Madison move from a cabin counselor, to office intern, to an invaluable member of our year-round Director team. Madison brought exceptional organizational skills, sharp wit, and deep knowledge and love of all things Taylor Swift. We will certainly miss her around the office as she moves on to greater adventures, but thankfully she will still be in Hendersonville and hope to see her around camp in the summer!
With our farewell to Madison, we are now welcoming Gretchen Roeder to our team as Administrative Director. Many of you have already worked with Gretchen, either on the phone, by email, or perhaps as one of your camper’s counselors! Gretchen brings a wealth of Pinnacle experience and knowledge to the role, spending five previous summers with us. She has been a cabin counselor, activity staff, and most recently worked on our programming team behind the scenes in 2023. Gretchen has also worked as a para-educator in Kentucky with students with autism, as well as abroad, teaching English in Florence, Italy during the spring of 2021. She has worked in various youth development programs – The Outdoor School in Texas and Clemson’s Teaching Kate program as an outdoor educator. We are thrilled to have her passion and drive on our team, second only to her love of Camp Pinnacle. Please join us in welcoming Gretchen to the Pinnacle crew!
