Cabin Counselor
After working on the media team last summer, Alexa is so excited to return to Camp Pinnacle as a cabin counselor. She is currently studying philosophy, neuroscience, and psychology at Washington University in St. Louis and cannot wait to return to her home state for a summer full of serious fun. Alexa loves spending time outdoors, reading, hiking, and photography. She cannot wait for summer 2025. Welcome back, Alexa!
Alice
Cabin Counselor
Alice is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from Nashville, TN, Alice currently lives in Blacksburg, VA where she is studying environmental science and Spanish at Virginia Tech. She loves to run, explore the wilderness, ski with her family, and blast music wherever she is. Camp Pinnacle was Alice’s second home as a kid, and she is excited to return. She can’t wait to share her love for Camp Pinnacle with campers and counselors while creating an inclusive environment. Welcome back to camp, Alice!
Gennese
Cabin Counselor
Gennese is so so so excited to join Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from Colonial Heights, VA, she now lives in Richmond while pursuing her master’s in social work. Gennese loves music, reading, staying active, musical theater, and taking care of a variety of house plants. She has also recently started learning how to crochet. In her downtime, she enjoys exploring new hobbies and going on long walks. While she’ll miss her dog and college friends, Gennese can’t wait to spend the summer in North Carolina and is ready to form new connections and welcome everyone at camp as part of her extended family. Jaylah
Cabin Counselor
Jaylah is joining Camp Pinnacle for the first time and couldn’t be more excited. She comes all the way from Hamilton, New Zealand and loves anything to do with the outdoors and being active. Hiking, paddle boarding, running, volleyball, and weightlifting are some of her favorite activities. She can’t wait to meet everyone and make amazing memories together over the summer. Ray
Cabin Counselor
Ray is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from Durham NC, Ray goes to Appalachian State in Boone, NC, where he studies geography. He loves to explore the mountains around Boone, where he regularly backpacks, swims, and climbs. He is super excited to come to camp this summer to play and learn alongside campers. Sammi
Cabin Counselor
After three summers as a camper, Sammi is excited to join Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a cabin counselor! She is originally from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and is currently studying exercise physiology at Florida State University. She loves the outdoors, especially water activities like paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. Sammi can’t wait to come back and give campers memories as strong as the ones she has from when she was a camper. Welcome back, Sammi!

Shayna is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a cabin counselor. Shayna is from Chapel Hill, NC originally and also goes to school at UNC Chapel Hill. She is an undergraduate student studying psychology and advertising, focusing on personal relations. In her free time, she likes to dance, run, and hike. Shayna was a camper at CP for 5 years and cannot imagine a better place to spend her summer. Welcome to camp, Shayna!

Simon is coming back for his second year as a cabin counselor. He is originally from Atlanta, GA, but recently moved to Charleston, SC, where he attends college. He is majoring in computer science with a minor in geoinformatics. He is a big part of the College of Charleston Outdoor Club, with whom he goes camping and backpacking frequently. Cabin Counselor
Sophia is joining Camp Pinnacle for her second summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from a small town in upstate NY, Sophia is currently living in Georgia as a student at Emory University. She loves to swim, hike, cook, read, and spend time with friends. Last summer, Sophia had an absolute blast at camp, and she can’t wait to spend another summer on Wolfe Lake with old and new friends. Cabin Counselor
Spenser is so excited to be back at Camp Pinnacle for her second summer as a cabin counselor. She is originally from Miami, FL, but currently attends Georgia Tech in Atlanta where she is studying chemical engineering. She grew up attending summer camps, including Camp Pinnacle, and she is super excited to help campers have the same amount of fun as she did. She loves spending time outdoors and with friends and is so eager to help create a responsible, positive, and fun environment. Welcome back, Spenser!
Stella
Cabin Counselor
Stella is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a swimming instructor. She is from a little town called Mount Beauty in high country Australia, and is very excited to be leaving her cold winter to experience the North Carolina summer! Stella loves swimming, hiking, spending time with loved ones, good music, food, and dancing. She is currently taking a gap year after completing high school to pursue her interest in traveling, and couldn’t think of a better way to do so than becoming part of the incredible Camp Pinnacle family. Cabin Counselor
Tobin is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a cabin counselor. Hailing from Raleigh, NC, Tobin is a huge fan of the Carolina Hurricanes and the NC State Wolfpack. Currently, Tobin is enrolled as an accounting major at App State University. He enjoys nice hikes and long runs out n the blue ridge mountains. One of his favorite activities is finding new music and shared interests with others. Tobin is ready and ecstatic for the summer. Wesley is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from Chapel Hill, NC, he spent 10 years in Saudi Arabia and the UAE with his parents, sister, and dog Betsy. He is currently studying finance at Elon University with a minor in leadership studies. He enjoys being outdoors, playing pickleball, and watching movies and TV shows. Wesley is excited to create connections with counselors and campers where everyone can grow as a person. Originally from Greenville, SC, Will is coming back to Camp Pinnacle for his second year as a counselor. Will is currently a freshman at Sewanee, the University of the South and is planning to major in eco-bio. Will is super excited to be back at Camp Pinnacle and can’t wait to bring his energy and enthusiasm. Alex is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a cabin counselor after spending multiple summers on Wolfe Lake as a camper. Originally from Charlottesville, VA, Alex currently lives in Philadelphia where she is studying Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. She loves to be on the water whether it’s being blobbed or rolling a kayak and is always ready for an adventure. Alex is excited to spend time with campers as they try new things and make memories. Cabin Counselor
Alex is a first year counselor from Adelaide, South Australia and a recent graduate of secondary school. He currently works in retail, and in his free time he volunteers at his local church helping serve kids and the elderly. Alex enjoys meeting new people, spending time with friends, and staying active through swimming and Australian Rules Football. With a background in scouting, he’s excited to rediscover those outdoor skills and immerse himself in the nature of North Carolina. Andie is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a cabin counselor. She’s originally from Durham, NC, and is currently studying Environmental Science at NC State University. Her favorite pastimes are playing the guitar, spending time with her many animals at home, and driving around while blasting 2000s pop. A long-time Pinnacle camper herself, Andie is excited to return to camp in a new role. She can’t wait to meet all her campers and encourage them to take reasonable risks and explore who they are!

Andrew is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a kayaking counselor. Originally from Santa Marta, Colombia, Andrew currently lives in Madrid, Spain, where he is studying business administration and marketing. He has a passion for motocross, a love for animals, and a deep connection to the ocean. Andrew is no stranger to Camp Pinnacle as a five year camper himself, and he is thrilled to be returning to his second home. Angel is excited to join the Pinnacle facilities team this summer! He’s originally from Tlaxcala, Mexico, and is currently studying business administration at the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla. He enjoys playing soccer, swimming, and going to the gym in his free time. He’s looking forward to spending time with the campers and counselors exploring the North Carolina wilderness and hopes to help create an environment that motivates campers to take on challenges and feel comfortable being themselves. Camp Nurse
Nurse Anne is returning to Camp Pinnacle for her 8th year as one of the team of camp nurses. She started her Pinnacle journey with her grandson and now has two grandsons here at camp. It is not just the campers and counselors who get hooked into the Pinnacle spirit! Cabin Counselor
Asher is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a cabin counselor. Hailing from Torquay, a small coastal town in Victoria, Australia, Asher is excited to swap the beach and ocean for the beautiful forest and lake of Camp Pinnacle for the summer. He loves hiking, swimming and all sorts of water sports. Since graduating high school, Asher has decided to take a gap year to come to Camp Pinnacle as a counselor and will attend university next year to do a Bachelor of Film and Television with Honours. Asher is psyched to spend time with the campers and counselors while discovering the natural beauty of North Carolina. Barron is returning to Camp Pinnacle for his second summer as a counselor. He is from Greenville, SC. Barron is currently double majoring in Finance and Accounting and is minoring in German Studies at Wofford College. In his free time, Barron enjoys lifting weights and doing anything outside. Becca is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a trip leader. She grew up in New Zealand and England, and she graduated this spring with a degree in Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh. In addition to loving all things outdoors, Becca enjoys playing trumpet and guitar, frisbee, film photography, yoga, and wild swimming. She spent a year studying in Missouri and cannot wait to be back in the states sharing her love of the outdoors with as many people as possible!

Bella is returning to Camp Pinnacle for her second summer as a cabin counselor! Originally from Orlando, Florida, Bella is currently living in Boston, where she just finished her sophomore year studying Mathematics and Physics at Northeastern University. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors, enjoying a good book, making intricate crafts, and watching (or reading!) plays and musicals. After a year away from camp, Bella can’t wait to be back at the Archery range, but even more than that, she is so excited for another great summer full of fun and friendship! She is from Puebla, Mexico, and is currently studying Industrial Engineering at the Instituto Tecnologico de Puebla. She loves running, dancing, hiking, and listening to music. Trip Leader
Brayden is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a trip leader. Originally from Massachusetts, he is currently studying Outdoor Education, Leadership, and Tourism at Vermont State University Lyndon, where he is also a member of the college baseball team. He holds a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification and has completed additional courses in Backcountry Leadership and Outdoor Expedition, traveling on multi-day trips while learning how to lead groups and travel safely in the backcountry. Brayden loves rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and being outdoors year-round, including snowboarding in the winter. He is excited to spend the summer in North Carolina leading trips, helping campers try new things, and building confidence along the way. Welcome to camp, Brayden!

Nature instructor
Charlie started coming to camp as a camper quite a few years ago. An expert in all things nature and Pinnacle history, he has filled many roles over the years and is happy to go where he is needed. He lives in Spartanburg, SC and is a middle school librarian for Greenville County Schools. In his free time he loves hiking in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Although he recently completed Wilderness First Responder training, he hopes he will never be called on to put his knowledge to use. Welcome back, Charlie!

Christian is joining Camp Pinnacle for his second summer as a trip leader. He is from Ocean Springs, MS and graduated with a degree in Outdoor Recreation from Ole Miss. He likes to dedicate his free time to practicing archery, longsword fencing, and jiu jitsu. He has a deep love for rock climbing, caving, and camping. He hopes to get others as passionate about the outdoors as he is!

Camp Nanny
Claire is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a nanny. Originally from Westmoreland, TN, she recently earned both her state and national EMS certifications. Claire has a strong passion for working with children, pushing her peers to be their best, and helping others, and she is excited to bring those skills to the camp community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. Although she will miss her dog and sisters while she is away, Claire is excited to spend the summer at Camp Pinnacle connecting with new people and helping create a safe, fun, and unforgettable experience for everyone she meets.

Cody is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a mountain biking counselor. Cody is from Christchurch, New Zealand, and loves mountain biking, hiking, and all things outdoors. Cody is currently taking a gap year after completing high school and is very excited to leave the frosty New Zealand winter for the awesome North Carolina summer! Cabin Counselor
Creighton is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from Bethesda, MD, he is currently attending the University of Maryland – College Park where he studies aerospace engineering and competes on the club ultimate frisbee team. In his time away from school Creighton loves mountain biking, hiking, board games, and finding any excuse to get outside. He is looking forward to getting back to camp after attending Pinnacle for four summers as a camper, and he is hoping to help recreate the environment he remembers so fondly.

Derek is returning to Camp Pinnacle for his third summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from Puebla, Mexico, Derek currently lives in Cholula, where he recently completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has a strong passion for outdoor activities and sports, especially mountain biking, soccer, hiking, and rafting. Derek loves staying active and enjoys spending time in nature, always bringing high energy and enthusiasm to everything he does. He is excited to create a positive and supportive environment, encouraging campers to grow, build confidence, and have fun. Divine is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a cabin counselor. She’s originally from Annapolis, Maryland and is currently living in Baltimore to attend Morgan State University, where she’s a sophomore studying hospitality with a culinary minor. She loves baking especially cake pops and cookies and enjoys all types of arts and crafts. She’s really excited to meet new people and be a counselor her campers can always come talk to. Ecco is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first ever American summer camp experience! Hailing from down under in rural Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia, Ecco has a big passion for mountain biking and loves being outdoors whether on a bike, hiking, camping or sleeping under the stars. Cabin Counselor
Eimear is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a cabin counselor and lifeguard. She is joining us from a small town in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and is a recent graduate of Ulster University, Belfast. Eimear grew up playing Gaelic Football and loves spending every second she can outside walking, hiking or running. This will be her first time in America and she cannot wait to experience camp for the first time and to escape the rain in Ireland! She loves travelling, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. Welcome to camp, Eimear!

Cabin Counselor
Eli is returning to Camp Pinnacle for his second summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, he now attends Plymouth State University in New Hampshire where he is studying to become an elementary school teacher. Eli enjoys connecting with campers in a variety of ways, whether it’s playing basketball or helping them put on the best air band performance. He is excited to be back for another great summer, with many more to come.

Ella (nickname “Spags”) is so excited to join the Pinnacle team for her first summer as a cabin counselor and Tiny Boats instructor. She is from Australia and currently works at a school camp in her hometown teaching kayaking and abseiling. In the Australian summers, she works on a boat and gets to swim with dolphins! She loves to read, listen to music, swim in the ocean, and take nature walks. She also loves exploring new places, and she can’t wait to explore Camp and Western North Carolina!

Ellen is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a counselor and canoeing instructor! Originally from nearby Brevard, NC, Ellen now attends college in Lewiston, Maine, where she is studying psychology. She has a passion for all things outdoors, especially running, biking, and swimming! She also loves to read, listen to music, and hang out with friends. Elvis is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as part of the kitchen team. Originally from Kigali, Rwanda, Elvis is currently living in Budapest, Hungary, where he is studying fashion and interior design at Óbuda University. Elvis is a big basketball fan and also enjoys watching football. In his free time, he loves singing, playing the piano, and spending time at the lake sharpening his swimming skills. He has a strong passion for fashion and enjoys anything related to creativity and design. Elvis is excited to spend his first summer in the United States and is especially looking forward to experiencing different cultures at camp. Freya is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from Palm Beach, FL, Freya loves the outdoors, and is so excited to explore North Carolina with campers and staff! He hails from Lovettsville, VA, and just graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia. He spends most days outdoors whitewater kayaking, climbing, mountain biking, or snowboarding. Georgia is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a member of the media team. She was born and raised in Asheville, NC before moving to Indiana. She attends Indiana University Bloomington working towards her BFA in Graphic Design. Although it is her first summer at camp, she comes from a long line of former Pinnacle counselors and campers. from Raleigh, NC and is currently working towards his Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling at UNC Chapel Hill. Outside of class, he works as the head coach of a youth bouldering program in Durham, NC. In his free time he enjoys rock climbing, hiking, reading, and a good bowl of cereal. Jackson is returning to camp for his fifth summer and his first as Head of Mountain Biking. He is originally from Davidson, NC and is studying Parks & Recreation Management at Western Carolina University. She is currently pursuing an associate degree in science and plans to transfer to UNC Chapel Hill for a bachelor’s degree in radiologic science. Most recently, she worked this winter in Killington, Vermont as a ski instructor after finishing her college degree from The Ohio State University early. Jenna is joining us for her first summer working at Camp Pinnacle! As a long-time camper herself, she knows what it takes to have an unforgettable summer! She joins us after working for three day camps in Illinois and one overnight camp outside NYC. She has a graduate degree from Emory University in Health and Psychology and is planning to enroll in a master’s program for Child Life this fall. In her free time, Jenna loves to read, make art, explore nature, and practice yoga! She can’t wait to be a part of campers’ experience as a day-trip leader for off-site guided hiking excursions in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains!

Jess is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer on the media team! She is from a town called Barnsely in the middle of England, and lives with her parents, 2 younger brothers, 4 cats and their newest addition to the family, a golden retriever named Bonnie! Some of her favorite things to do in include writing, playing online with my friends, traveling, and going to the cinema. In the last couple of years she has studied and completed a college course in Film Production and won a university competition for one of her short films! John is coming back for his second year at Camp Pinnacle and his 27th year of summer camp! John grew up in Florida but started coming to camp in the Appalachians when he was 10. He ultimately found his way here full time and works as a nurse and wilderness first aid instructor in Asheville. He is thrilled to have found a place his kids love as much as he loved camp as a kid. While being a camp nurse isn’t quite as fun as being on the other side of the health center, he is excited to help all the campers get back out there as quickly, and safely, as possible!

Jonas is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from just outside Nashville, TN, Jonas has a deep love for Appalachia and frequently takes trips to explore the region. Jonas recently graduated from a film program in Nashville, and he hopes to have a career in live sports broadcasting and concert production. In his free time, Jonas loves rock climbing, exploring different hiking trails, or spending time with his four younger siblings. He hopes to empower campers to develop more resilience while at camp. Juan David is joining the Camp Pinnacle team as a cabin counselor and athletics instructor all the way from Cali, Colombia! He is in his final year of his Mechanical Engineering degree; he has always been fascinated by how things work, especially cars, aeroplanes, and anything with an engine. He loves staying active and spends most of his free time training at the gym, playing tennis, or running. He also enjoys playing flight simulator or Formula 1. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and French and is currently learning Mandarin, too! He really enjoys connecting with people from different cultures and is so excited for what this summer will bring. He hopes to be someone campers feel comfortable talking to while having a brilliant time at Camp Pinnacle, whether that is on the football pitch, by the pool, or on the courts.

MacKenna is excited to return to Camp Pinnacle for their second summer as a cabin counselor. Before joining staff, they attended camp as a camper and went on three Adventure Treks trips. Originally from Durham, NC, MacKenna currently lives in Vermont, where they study Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and Computer Science at Middlebury College. This past fall, they studied abroad in Copenhagen and had the chance to travel across Europe, exploring everything from coasts to mountains and castles to fjords. MacKenna has been a competitive swimmer their whole life, rows at Middlebury, and loves outdoor adventures like scuba diving, backpacking, and kayaking. Maddi is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer (and first time in the US!) as a day trip leader. While she now lives in Sydney, AUS, she is originally from North Yorkshire, England. She has just recently graduated from The University of Sydney with a bachelors degree in Ancient History and Anthropology, starting her Honors year in 2027. You will often hear her talking about a new historical obsession, a fun fact, or a new discovery she has made. Other than history, she loves the outdoors and nature, spending a lot of time hiking in her local national park, swimming/reading at the beach and playing sports – especially rugby union! He has just finished a gap year between high school and college during which he completed NOLS Patagonia in the fall and a Contemplative Semester in the spring. Kia ora! Mikey is returning to Camp Pinnacle for his second summer as an Activities Counselor, working in soccer and pickleball. Originally from Nelson, Aotearoa, New Zealand, Mikey recently completed his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Product Design at the University of Canterbury. He has been playing croquet for nearly 10 years and has represented New Zealand in international competitions, including the U21 World Championships, bringing a strong sporting background, competitive energy, and positive attitude to everything he does. Mikey loves helping campers build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun being active — whether it’s on the soccer field, the pickleball court, or exploring new games inspired by his croquet experience. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Nick is now living in Burlington, Vermont, where he is pursuing a degree in technical art and game design. Growing up near the Appalachian Mountains, Nick spent a lot of time camping, backpacking, and mountain biking. He was also a Pinnacle camper himself! After spending last summer in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, Nina is returning to Camp Pinnacle for her third summer on staff! She is particularly excited to experience her first summer as a head counselor as the Head of Hillside Wolfe Pack! Nina is originally from New Jersey, but now calls Southern California home. She just graduated from San Diego State University with her bachelor’s degree in Recreation Tourism Management with an emphasis in Outdoor Resource Management. When not at camp, you can find her surf instructing, backpacking, practicing headstands, swimming in the ocean, or spending time with her leopard gecko. On days off, he loves to go on road trips, go to the gym, and play sports – his favorites are tennis and Australian football. He also loves his family and dog. Cabin Counselor
Padd is joining camp for his second summer as cabin counselor. Originally from London, England, Padd now lives by the sea in Essex where he is an early years practitioner (day care teacher). He likes to spend his spare time paddleboarding, walking in the countryside, and volunteering at a church youth club. Padd also likes to travel and spent last summer in Vietnam and Cambodia. He also worked as a volunteer at a youth festival, looking after 7-11 year olds. Padd looks forward to meeting lots of new people at camp this year, as well as reconnecting with friends from last summer. Welcome back, Padd!
Perrin
Cabin Counselor
Perrin is joining Camp Pinnacle for her fist summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from Spartanburg, SC, Perrin currently lives in Sewanee, TN where she is studying Economics at Sewanee: The University of the South. She loves being outdoors, going on long walks, spending time with family and friends, and listening to music. Although this is Perrin’s first summer as a counselor, she has a deep love for Camp Pinnacle, as it was her second home as a kid. She can’t wait to return and share her love for Pinnacle with her campers and fellow counselors, helping them create unforgettable experiences like the ones she had. Welcome back, Perrin!

Trip Leader
Quinten is joining Camp Pinnacle for his second summer, but his first as a Trip Leader! He is looking forward to being back at camp surrounded by friends in an amazing atmosphere. Quinten is originally from Cincinnati, OH and graduated from Miami University-Oxford in 2025. He just finished his first year as a high school biology and chemistry teacher! He fills any free time he has with working out, spending time outside with friends, and running. He can’t wait to be back in the beautiful state of NC! Welcome back, Quinten!
Ray
Cabin Counselor
Ray is thrilled to be coming back to Camp Pinnacle for his second summer as a cabin counselor. He has spent the last two years studying geography at Appalachian State and falling in love with the mountains of Western North Carolina. He loves bouldering and swimming in lakes and rivers. As a member of his school’s cold plunge club, he has been swimming all year round. Ray is ready to spend time canoeing on Wolfe Lake, singing camp songs, and blowing bubbles. Welcome back, Ray!
Rex
Head of Climbing
Rex is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as the Head of Climbing! She brings years of camp and outdoor education experience, and we are grateful to have her leading our rock wall and ropes course teams. She loves all animals (especially dinosaurs) and being outside. Her first experience climbing was at her sixth grade science camp, and she loved it so much that when she was old enough she became a climbing instructor at the camp she attended as a kid. Rex currently lives in Southern California where she is in school to become a second grade teacher. She is looking forward to moving across the country for three months to spend time at beautiful Camp Pinnacle. Welcome, Rex!
Ridley
Cabin Counselor
Ridley is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a cabin counselor and part of the mountain biking team. Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, he is taking a break from school to work and travel before pursuing higher education next year. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and surfing. Ridley is excited to spend this summer with the campers and other counselors, and he is looking forward to visiting North Carolina and other parts of the USA. Welcome to camp, Ridley!
Roark
Cabin Counselor
Roark is joining Camp Pinnacle for her second summer as a cabin counselor. She is originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina and is a current sophomore at UNC Chapel-Hill studying Economics and Philosophy! She competes on her school’s Mock Trial team and spends her free time hiking and skiing in the Blue Ridge Mountains. She is so excited to return, and to make Pinnacle her home away from home again!

Rowan is returning to Camp Pinnacle for her 4th summer and second as the Head of Athletics. She is from Exeter, England and loves to spend her time playing football and traveling to new places. She is originally from the Washington D.C. area, and is currently studying political science and psychology at Vanderbilt University. In her free time, she enjoys baking, skiing, hiking, reading, and eating cheese (especially charcuterie boards). Sarah-Jane is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as part of the media team! She is originally from Scotland, United Kingdom. She is a Social Science student at Glasgow Caledonian University and is part of the Snow Sports society. She loves music, art, history, and nature. Traveling the world is a new-found passion of hers, and she is most excited about meeting new people this summer!

Savannah is joining Camp Pinnacle for her first summer as a cabin counselor. She is originally from Charlotte, NC, and currently lives in Wilmington where she studies creative writing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, reading, writing, and line dancing. Sebastian is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first year as a camp counselor after two prior years as a camper. He is originally from Brevard, NC and is a current student at North Carolina State University where he is studying Zoology on the Pre-Vet track. Sebastian is joining the Camp Pinnacle team all the way from Hamilton, New Zealand for his first summer as a lifeguard and cabin counselor! He graduated high school in 2025 and is currently working to save up funds to travel around the states after camp this summer. She’s from Huntington Beach, California, and is currently attending Cal State Long Beach where she is pursuing a degree in English Education. Sophia is a member of the CSULB rowing team and also plays intramural flag football in her free time. She enjoys going to concerts, spending time at the beach, reading, and watching movies. Spenser is so thrilled to be back at camp for her third summer! This summer she will be the Head of the Otters! Spenser is originally from Miami, FL but currently attends Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. She is studying chemical engineering with a concentration in biotechnology. Spenser spent six years as a camper at Camp Pinnacle and is so grateful for the opportunity to help campers have the same experience she did! Nurse Sydney is joining Camp Pinnacle for her second summer and she is so excited to be back at camp! Sydney and her husband have two kids and two English Cream Coat Golden Retrievers- the best pups ever! She loves to play sports, act on stage, cheers for UNC, and is a bit of a self proclaimed nerd. She especially enjoys riding her bicycle-don’t be surprised if you see her cruising around on the mountain bike trails during a break from the Medical Clinic! Theo is so excited to join the Camp Pinnacle team for his first year as a camp counselor! He is from New Zealand and greaduated high school at the end of 2025. He is a huge sports fan and follows the Timberwolves, Vikings, Arsenal, and the Dolphins in the NRL. He also loves playing football (or as the Americans call it, “soccer'”) and basketball. Thomas is joining Camp Pinnacle for his first summer as a cabin counselor. Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, he spent much of his school years living in Brunei, gaining a global perspective and adaptability. Thomas likes to stay active. He loves climbing as part of his school club, running, hiking, and playing football and basketball. He has experience working with children through coaching football and holiday programs. Trudy is the Head of Media at Camp Pinnacle this year! This is her second summer with us, and she’s flying all the way from Manchester, England to bring her incredible energy to camp. With seven years of studying television and photography, Trudy has a real eye for capturing unforgettable moments. She loves soaking up the sunshine, painting, practicing yoga, and playing games with friends. Trudy is beyond excited to dive into the camp spirit, unplug from the world, and, her favorite part—capture kids having the time of their lives (especially during Color War of course!) Cabin Counselor
Wes is returning to camp for his fifth summer! He loves Camp Pinnacle and is excited to be the disc golf instructor. This sport has taught him a lot over the years, so he loves to share it and see it spark a passion for adventuring in others. Wes is also pumped to be a cabin counselor again and experience the unique bond each cabin forms over time. Most of all, he wants to serve as a guide for campers on their journey to becoming who they are and doing what they love, and he can’t wait to learn from them as well. Cabin Counselor
Wiktoria is returning to Camp Pinnacle for her second summer, this year as a cabin counselor. She is from Tourn, Poland, and she has recently earned her bachelor’s degree in Polish linguistics and copywriting from Nicolaus Copernicus University. She enjoys traveling, solving crosswords, and trying new things – especially creative projects. While working as part of the Pinnacle kitchen team last summer, Wiktoria developed a deep appreciation for camp’s traditions and strong sense of community. This summer she is looking forward to spending time with campers, sharpening her archery skills, playing pickleball, and sharing her culture and energy. She hopes to create a space where campers feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. Welcome back to camp, Wiktoria!

Originally from Greenville, SC, Will is coming back to Camp Pinnacle for his third year as a counselor. Will is a rising senior at Clemson University majoring in Wildlife Biology. A three year Pinnacle camper himself, Will is super excited to be back at camp and can’t wait to bring his energy and enthusiasm. Will loves to do anything outdoors including running, biking, hiking, climbing, and swimming around Wolfe Lake. He is so stoked to have another fantastic summer at camp. Welcome back, Will!
Zac
Head Counselor
Zac is so excited to be making the journey from Australia to Camp Pinnacle for his 4th summer! He is delighted to be stepping into the role of Head of Older Boys (Bears) and cannot wait for an impactful and memorable experience at camp once again. Zac usually chases an endless summer between hemispheres, although he has just spent the winter working at a Ski Resort in Japan where he fell in love with snowboarding. His hobbies include playing sports, hiking and all sorts of puzzles and games. Zac cannot wait to see all campers, new and old, create everlasting memories together this summer!
